Appalachian Mountain Studios (AMS) is a full service video, film and audio production company located in Bristol, Virginia. Specializing in the production of television programming, motion pictures, television and radio commercials, music videos, corporate presentations, instructional videos and interactive media of all types.

AMS was formed when New York production companies Northshore Entertainment and MyMar Entertainment, with over fifty years of film and television production experience collectively, joined forces with Southwest Virginia's HiWire Webcasting, one of the region's premiere new media creators. By combining a rich history of success in traditional film and television production with expertise and creativity in the exciting and ever-evolving realm of new media content designed for and distributed through the internet, Appalachian Mountain Studios is destined to set a new standard for film, television, and new media production in the region.

Immediate plans include the development and production of several programs focusing on regional history of national interest, most noticably, the story of the Bristol Sessions and the birthplace of Country Music.
